My beautiful sister, Marilee came to visit! My friend Laura is the curator of the Fishers (owners of The Gap Inc.) private art collection. She gave me, Marilee and a few friends a tour of the art at The Gap headquarters in San Francisco. It was AMAZING!
We got to see about 200 different pieces. There were paintings, sculptures, installation pieces and all types of mixed media.
Laura told us all about the pieces and the different artists- we were in heaven!
This is a sculpture--it looks so real.
Marilee and I in front of a Warhol piece.
My favorites this time were the Chuck Close pieces.
This Lichtenstein is the first piece you see in the gallery.
We got to do lots of shopping in San Francisco and Berkeley.
It was a fun trip, thanks for visiting Marilee!

Looks like such a fun trip! I was just talking to a friend of mine who used to work for the Gap in SF and was telling me about this collection--it looks amazing! I need a sisters' trip like this! Jennifer, thanks for your nice comment on my blog! Hope you guys are well. We are settling into swimming lessons next week for the duration with no trips planned. It's hot but good here.
